Detroit, MIPosted Aug 2016 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I started with an HR interview that lasted about twenty-five to thirty minutes.

It began with questions about sponsorship and relocation, knowledge of the company’s values, and teamwork. The HR interviewer was very polite and the conversation felt supportive, and she took notes throughout.

The interview then shifted into technical territory. Although HR led the call, the way the technical portion appeared made it feel like they were preparing my information to pass to the hiring manager for further evaluation.

The experience ended without an offer, but it left me with a genuinely positive impression of the interviewer and the fairness of the process up to that point.
