Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories Software Engineer interview experience

First I had a thirty-minute phone call with an HR representative focused on my values and how they matched the company’s.

After that, I moved into a technical interview that lasted about an hour and a half, which was the main depth of the process.

The descriptions I have don’t go into the specific technical topics, but the structure was clear: values alignment first, then a long technical conversation immediately after. I didn’t end up with an offer, and the most memorable part was how quickly it transitioned from HR fit into sustained technical questioning.
