My experience started with a focus on my current employer, and from there the questions got more specific.

The interviewer dug into protection and electrical fundamentals—things like what protection is used for a transformer, the difference between high impedance and low impedance protection, and how the communication scheme between relays works in a feeder protection scenario.

Even though the process details weren’t fully laid out, the tone was clearly technical. The questions were concrete, scenario-based, and tied to real power protection concepts rather than abstract definitions.
