Pullman, WAPosted Aug 2016 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I applied online and noticed their application site was kind of outdated, since it asked me to paste my resume in plain text.

Within a week, I got a call back and scheduled a thirty-minute phone interview with their HR person.

The call had general questions first, and those felt a little insincere. Then the second half labeled “technical questions” became extremely basic circuit questions with numbers, including doing calculations and giving numeric answers. I felt like the interviewer was essentially reading from a script from engineers and didn’t really have the theory behind the questions.

When I tried to clarify a point, the interviewer came across as rude, which made the whole technical segment feel unfair
