I went through a fairly traditional funnel at SEL: a phone HR discussion, then a more technical phone interview, and finally an on-site round that included a presentation topic for about twenty minutes.

The on-site started with a tour of the company and then moved into three rounds of interviews plus the presentation. I was interviewing for a C# role in Pullman, and the day felt like it was designed to test both breadth and how I handled interactive problem solving.

The technical questions were heavy on conceptual material across C, C#, and SQL query thinking, and I also got asked about OO design through class diagrams and how SDLC fits into building software. Some of the problem solving required a whiteboard, which changed the pace a bit—there was less guessing and more structured
