After my resume got shortlisted, my first real step was a HackerRank online assessment.

The format was online mode with a 90-minute duration, and the difficulty was high enough that I had to concentrate the whole time instead of relying on momentum.

It felt like the kind of assessment where you can’t waste time—every minute mattered, and the questions pushed more than just basic familiarity. I didn’t receive an offer afterward, and the experience left me feeling that the bar started early in the process.
