Salesforce Software Engineer interview experience

IC3Posted May 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I got pulled into Salesforce through a recruiter outreach I found on LinkedIn after being laid off from Oracle.

The timing lined up with a virtual hiring drive for the SMTS track, and I joined it on May 22, 2026.

It was pretty straightforward on my end: the recruiter initial contact came first, then I showed up for the hiring drive when it was scheduled. I went in with around 8.5+ years of experience from my most recent role as an SMTS (IC3) at Oracle, and I expected the process to be aligned to that level.
