Salesforce Software Engineer interview experience

The medium one was the real challenge for me: it was essentially the longest common subsequence dynamic programming problem.

I submitted my solution but failed some test cases. It wasn’t one small mistake either—it was enough that the platform didn’t accept the approach as correct, and that rejection closed the process for me.

I didn’t get an offer in this path, and honestly it felt disappointing because the problem wasn’t just hard—it required the right DP reasoning, and I didn’t nail the edge cases in time. The rejection was pretty definitive once the wrong test cases came back.
