Salesforce Software Engineer interview experience

Posted Apr 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I only had a single DSA-style round for Salesforce’s SMTS role, and that was the extent of my technical loop at the time.

The whole experience felt very focused: I sat through one coding question centered on the classic “Best Time to Buy and Sell Stock” problem.

I didn’t go through a long chain of interviews after that in the way I’d seen others describe. Overall, it felt like a straightforward single checkpoint rather than a broad process, and the outcome wasn’t the theme of the thread I participated in—it was mainly that I was done after that one DSA question.
