Salesforce Software Engineer interview experience

It began with an initial one-hour conversation focused on my background and experience, where the discussion was more about how I’d worked than pure technical execution.

After that came a director-level interview centered on leadership, decision-making, and how I worked with teams. The technical side came last, where I was evaluated on problem-solving, system design, and practical engineering knowledge. Overall, it felt structured and consistent—less random question-hopping and more a clear check across communication, leadership, and engineering depth. I ended up getting an offer.
