My Salesforce MTS call was short but very specific.

The interview started like a typical telephone discussion, and the questions quickly went from basic to platform-focused.

I was asked what an object or a record is in Salesforce, and then we moved into batch and governor limits. The conversation was basically centered on how Salesforce platform constraints work and how you’d think about operating within them.

Even though the tone was fine, I didn’t end up getting an offer. The main surprise was how quickly it moved away from pure coding and into Salesforce-specific concepts like bulkification and limits.
