Salesforce Software Engineer interview experience

MTSPosted Jan 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had an onsite hiring manager round coming up and I was actively trying to understand what the day would look like.

What stuck with me from the context I gathered was that it was specifically a hiring manager round, so it wasn’t just another coding checkpoint—it was meant to evaluate how I thought about the work and how I’d approach the role day to day. I spent a lot of time wondering what kinds of discussion topics I’d get and how technical the conversation would feel compared to the rest of the process.
