I had a mixed SAIC Software Engineer experience where the interview content was fairly straightforward, but communication and administrative handling sometimes undermined the process.

HR outreach / scheduling — I was contacted by HR and asked to schedule, but at least once I was left waiting without confirmation (follow-ups didn’t get a response).
Interview(s) with future supervisor / leads — In another case, I met with a direct supervisor and lead on the phone and then in person; it was quick with no extra meetings.
Paperwork and requisition complications — I learned the team needed to create a requisition at my experience level, which affected compensation.
Outcome handling issues — In separate instances, I faced abrupt automated rejection
