Atlanta, GAPosted May 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had a difficult phone-screen experience for a Software Engineer role in early May 2021, with clear scheduling pressure and an interview that felt rushed.

Recruiter screen (rescheduled path) — I was reached out by a recruiter twice; scheduling with an engineer became inconsistent and involved repeated rescheduling.
Rushed phone interview — during the call, I felt pressured to answer quickly while the interviewer was busy. Outcome: Rejected; I was told I didn’t elaborate enough, and the rushed format made it hard to fully convey my reasoning.
