Principal Financial Group Business Analyst interview experience

I was interviewed for a technical role, and I ended up answering most of what was asked—only leaving a smaller portion where I couldn’t speak to the details and had to be honest that I didn’t know.

What stood out was how much they valued communication and straightforward thinking. Even though the technical questions were the core of the discussion, the way I explained my reasoning mattered as much as the final answers, and I walked out feeling like strong communication was really the thing they were listening for.
