Seattle, WAPosted Feb 2019 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

It started with a phone screen that felt relatively simple.

After that, I was brought in for an in-person interview with two employees on the research team, and the interview ended up being extremely difficult.

The biggest issue for me was that the position felt more like tedious data gathering than research, and the job title didn’t quite match the ambiguity of what they were asking for. On top of that, the recruiter didn’t even send a rejection email afterward, which made the whole wrap-up feel unprofessional.

By the end, I’d left with the sense that the process wasn’t just hard—it also wasn’t handled well on communication.
