I had a pretty standard kickoff with the recruiter, then I moved to the practice leader where the discussion centered on methodology and how I’d applied it with examples.

After that, the recruiter told me they wanted me to fly to Charlotte to meet the MD. Minutes later, the recruiter called back to say the trip would be delayed and that they’d be in touch.

That delay stretched into weeks, and I never heard back. The part that frustrated me most was the lack of clarity after I’d already been pulled toward a travel step—once the timeline slipped, the process just went quiet. Eventually it led to rejection, and the waiting period was what made the whole experience feel drawn out and unfinished.
