One experience started off normal enough: I had a technical phone screen with a coding question, then the onsite looked like what I expected for a tech company—multiple one-hour coding interviews plus a manager conversation.

The interviewers were respectful, and the whole thing felt calibrated to actual engineering work rather than being overly chaotic.

But I also saw how quickly that can fall apart due to process management. I had another loop where I was told I would meet three people via Zoom, then everything got reshuffled by email and the timing was inconsistent, with a missed Zoom call that eventually got sorted out through phone. Even after I did the call, I still received a message saying they’d be moving forward with another candidate, which made the whole thing feel like internal miscommunication
