I made it through a multi-round interview loop and a late-stage offer, but the final outcome collapsed during negotiation over relocation.

Recruiter/technical loop — I went through a standard sequence: one tech screen, one manager call, and six onsite interviews.
Additional onsite follow-up — There was also an extra add-on interview after the onsite because an engineer couldn’t attend the original session.
Offer + negotiation — The company offered, but wouldn’t cover relocation; when I asked about relocation, they rescinded the offer. Outcome: No offer—my takeaway was that relocation policy became a hard stop after strong interview performance.
