Michigan State University Research Analyst interview experience

I didn’t experience anything like a multi-step interview loop; it seemed like the team already had a clear idea of who they wanted, and the process was more of a formality than a competitive series of rounds.

When I did connect with them, the conversation was light. I mainly talked through my resume and answered questions tied to what I’d written in my personal statement. The whole thing came across as very easy, with no major surprises or hard technical hurdles thrown at me.

I didn’t get an offer, but what stood out most was the overall vibe: there wasn’t much suspense or “prove yourself”
