Michigan State University Research Analyst interview experience

The interview itself ended up being a single round where I explained my experience and talked through how it connected to what they were looking for. It felt efficient, like they already had enough context from my materials and just wanted to hear it clearly.

One thing I appreciated was the overall environment they described. The conversation made the workplace feel supportive and more like a research community than a rigid, competitive setting, and I especially liked how they framed the research atmosphere and daily behavior around people.
