I went through a slightly more drawn-out Michaels hiring experience for the Account Executive role—still interview-focused, but with extra steps or a bit more tension than the quickest hiring stories.

Multi-step screen + managers — I had more than one conversation with managers plus a phone interview, and it moved fast but wasn’t just a single chat.
Online screening — I completed an online survey/screen before moving into in-person interviews.
Phone to in-person situational questions — I first answered situational and personal prompts about what I’d do in specific circumstances.
Prepping for store expectations — I was asked detailed questions to gauge how I’d fit into the company setting, including previous experience and craft/accomplishments.
