I went through a more formal, multi-step process (tests plus interviews) that leaned heavily on technical fundamentals like control systems, digital logic, and backend frameworks.

Entrance/online test — I completed an online, timed assessment (MCQ-style or question-based) that covered topics aligned to the department.
Technical interview — I moved into a technical discussion where I was probed on system/engineering concepts; in one path, this included control-system and circuit-style topics.
HR round — I finished with an HR conversation focused on fit. Outcome: I did not get an offer, and the technical material felt challenging but the interviewers were friendly.
