Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had a relatively short hiring journey for this Software Engineer role, with recruiter contact and then interviews that felt easier and more conversational.

Recruiter phone screen + coordination — I spoke with a recruiter on the phone, stayed in contact, and it felt smooth.
Technical/experience discussion with leadership (where included) — I talked through my prior experience, my interest in the role, and the available position options with a team leader and a high-level manager. Outcome: I did not receive an offer, and the takeaway was that the process could be quick even when the final result isn’t positive.
