I had a successful, three-phase Software Engineer interview where the most important emphasis was behavioral questions, supported by a couple of managerial conversations.

Phase 1: technical discussion — a session with technical interviewers focused on role understanding.
Phase 2: team manager — a conversation with the team manager.
Phase 3: department manager + HR — a department manager meeting followed by HR where I was informed about the offer and contract signing. Outcome: I received the offer—behavioral fit was the deciding factor, even with technical discussions included.
