I went through a home-task plus onsite manager sequence for a Software Engineer role, but the process ended early due to external circumstances.

Home task — I completed an assignment involving software development and testing.
Onsite: managers — I discussed my experience with onsite managers, focusing on what I had done and how I approached the work.
Group/department manager meeting — A further conversation to align on role expectations.
HR / contract prep (planned) — HR meetings to prepare the contract and offer were expected, but the process stopped. Outcome: I didn’t get to the offer stage because the process stopped due to COVID; takeaway: preparedness for the home task mattered, even if timing derailed
