My interview journey felt smooth and relatively average, with questions tied closely to academics and my projects, plus plenty of clarification on basics.

Technical interview — I was asked mostly about academic topics and project work from my resume, with follow-up questioning to confirm my fundamentals.
Cross-questioning / communication checks — Interviewers focused on how I explained concepts and whether I could answer probing questions clearly.
Tone check — In one version the interviewer was very relaxed and didn’t try to make me nervous. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the takeaway was to communicate your academic and project basics confidently because that’s what they test hardest.
