IndiaPosted Mar 2019 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for Software Engineer at McAfee and made it through to the manager stage, but my candidacy was later canceled for unclear reasons.

Three technical rounds — Two were telephonic, and the last was face-to-face.
Manager round — After the technical rounds, I reached the manager interview stage.
Expected director round (cancelled) — I was promised a director round soon, but then my process was canceled and they moved to another referral. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; the takeaway was that internal decision-making can derail candidates even after multiple successful rounds.
