I was referred by an employee, which initially made everything feel more promising.

After an initial screen, they told me they wanted to move me forward and explained what the next steps would look like. I gave them my availability within the timeframe they asked for.

After that, it went quiet. I ended up being ghosted despite a few follow-ups, and it had been over a month with no response from the recruiter. I never reached an offer stage, and honestly the most frustrating part was the gap between the early confidence they showed and then the silence that followed.
