I kicked things off with a recruiter call that felt fairly straightforward.

Then the process tightened up: the next interview was with the hiring manager and centered on how I managed customers and tracked a sales pipeline. It was more about practical approach than abstract discussion.

The stage after that was a use-case assessment, and what surprised me was how important it was to clarify expectations and the format in advance. I remember feeling that if I hadn’t aligned early with what they meant by the assessment, I would’ve been guessing under time pressure.

Over the weeks, everything felt professional, but the biggest snag for me was compensation transparency.
