San Francisco, CAPosted Oct 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

The recruiter felt genuinely supportive and gave me prep materials ahead of every stage, which made the process feel more guided than I expected.

When it came time for the mock call, I realized I hadn’t been investigating enough—I didn’t dig deeply into what was driving the client’s pain.

During the mock, I was pushed to keep asking why and to get to the underlying pain point, rather than moving too quickly to my usual sales motions. Even though the overall difficulty was average, that change in approach was what stood out most. By the end, I had a clearer sense of what they were looking for in a conversation: curiosity first, then structure.
