My process felt unusually paperwork-heavy and administrative before anything truly technical happened.

Because of the DoD background, I had to fill out all the required forms online, and it was exhausting—everything seemed to be handled in triplicate, and they wouldn’t even consider me unless the paperwork was done properly. Once that part was behind me, the actual interview steps were relatively straightforward.

Recruiting reached out on a phone screen that was only about 15 minutes and was very easy. We mainly reviewed my resume and discussed what the company does, and the vibe was that internal recommendations mattered a lot. After the phone screen, I went face-to-face for about 2.5 hours.
