I had a very tough interview with a set of questions that were framed as if they came from basics, but the difficulty still hit hard.

The discussion centered on MERN stack fundamentals, and I kept getting prompted in a way that pushed me to justify even the “simple” parts rather than just name concepts.

The overall experience didn’t feel friendly in terms of how demanding the questioning was. Even when the questions were described as starting from the basics, I ended up spending a lot of time walking through simplified answers, and it still felt like I was being tested deeply on understanding rather than memorization.
