I joined a technical conversation over Teams with the head of the department and an HR representative.

The whole thing took about an hour, and it was split so that I covered the technical side with the technical leader while HR handled the formalities.

The format was simple and easy to follow: one main discussion for the job’s technical expectations, then a separate portion for process and logistics. I didn’t feel like it was a high-pressure interrogation—more like a guided dialogue where the technical part was the centerpiece, and HR’s segment was there to wrap things up clearly.
