I experienced a process that started professionally but ended with a lot of silence.

After an initial call with HR—where the role was explained to me and I got clearer visibility—I was told I’d hear back within the week. Instead, I got ghosted, which was honestly the most annoying part.

I’ve also been through a strong-feeling first conversation where I was asked to send my portfolio and was led to expect quick feedback. The call itself felt great, but the timeline never materialized and I ended up waiting without updates.

In another run, I talked to an existing consultant who seemed disinterested, and it didn’t take long for the process to fizzle out into no further
