I didn’t do a phone screening at all, so the first real step was meeting with two sales managers for the initial round.

About a week later, I was called back for the second round, and that session included another sales manager.

Then the process culminated with a meeting with the CEO. Even though it was fairly compressed in terms of stages—no recruiter call in the middle—it still felt like there was a progression from sales leadership into top-level leadership.

In the end, there was no offer. Still, having the CEO conversation helped the process feel complete rather than just transactional.
