The first stage was very high-level and didn’t include anything technical.

After that interview, I was invited to a knowledge test where I could use either Python or R, and most of the questions were similar to things you can find online.

Because the early conversation was so non-technical, the real evaluation shifted quickly into that follow-up test. The overall process felt lighter than I expected upfront, but I still ended up without an offer.

What surprised me was how little the first interview focused on technical depth—it made the knowledge test feel like the true deciding step, and I left thinking that was exactly what they wanted to measure.
