I interviewed for a Software Engineer role that was genuinely difficult for an entry-level, with several rounds culminating in an HR conversation.

MCQ technical round — I completed multiple-choice questions in C or Java (depending on my choice).
Deep-dive technical rounds — The next rounds were technical and focused on depth; the level of difficulty felt tough for someone entry-level.
HR round — I finished with an HR interview. Outcome: I didn’t move forward; the takeaway is that their technical depth expectations were higher than what I could confidently meet.
