Reno, NVPosted Oct 2020 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had a more drawn-out, less professional experience for Software Engineer interviews, where process issues and lack of follow-up stood out as much as the technical evaluation.

HR screening — I started with an initial screening call.
Management and final rounds — I progressed through rounds with direct management and then higher management.
No closure / ghosting — In multiple cases, the company didn’t respond after final interviews; I followed up by email repeatedly and still didn’t get a clear reason.
Operational problems in-person — In another loop, the in-person meeting felt unprepared and even involved non-working technology. Outcome: No offer; the interview structure wasn’t the only issue—post-interview communication and execution
