Las Vegas, NVPosted Oct 2017 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Software Engineer position with a short timeline, average difficulty, and a frustrating lack of clarity after an initial rejection.

Recruiter contact — I was called by a recruiter and told I’d hear about next steps the following day.
Decision call — About a week later, I got a call saying they liked my experience but went with another candidate.
Repost signal (no closure) — Two days after the denial, the same job was reposted, and I felt the process lacked honesty about whether I was a good fit. Outcome: I didn’t get the role; the takeaway is that even when feedback seems vague, the job reposting can leave candidates without a clear, respectful explanation.
