I applied directly to the district manager, and the whole process took a couple months.

The first sit-down was pretty laid-back; we reviewed my skills and also talked honestly about my weaknesses. It felt more like a conversation than a formal interview, and we spent time on how I connected with the product.

They also dug into my work history—what my past employers were like and what the expectations had been at each role. Overall it was fairly average in difficulty, and my impression was that they were trying to map my background to the kind of day-to-day ownership they wanted.
