I interviewed for a Software Engineer role at GitHub and found scheduling and communication to be the weak point, even when some people were friendly.

Talent acquisition intro / explanation — Early contact started positively, with steps and expectations outlined.
Timed coding/PR-style technical work — I completed a coding challenge that involved submitting work (either via PR or an assignment) and awaited evaluation.
Recruiter responsiveness problems — I experienced long waits and repeated follow-ups, including having to ask the same questions multiple times.
Outcome with little visibility — In the end, I didn’t get an offer, and the process lacked clear feedback on what would need to change. Outcome: No offer;
