My experience was dominated by communication breakdowns around take-home submission reviews: I finished the work, but follow-up stalled and I ended up rejected or rejected by automation.

Take-home PR submission — I submitted a PR after completing a take-home exercise.
Code review stage that didn’t trigger — I waited for a code review step and had to email for next steps.
Extended ghosting after completion — In another similar flow, after completing a take-home I was fully ghosted for weeks.
Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer (and in one case only got an automated rejection); the takeaway is that timely review communication is a weak point in these pipelines.
