Boston, MAPosted Feb 2018 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Software Engineer role at GitHub and ran into a fairly short, behavior-heavy process that ended after a few weeks.

HR video screen — I spoke with an HR representative over video, where they explained the process and moved me forward.
Online questions — I answered questions focused on my management style, how I handle conflict, and how I manage competing priorities.
Final decision — After more waiting, I was told they weren’t interested. Outcome: I didn’t move forward; the process felt structured but ended quickly after the initial behavioral stage.
