I made it to the final round but didn’t get an offer due to internal headcount changes after a writing-and-teaching style evaluation.

Writing + teaching assignment — I completed a written exercise followed by a teaching-related component.
Multiple team member interviews — I then interviewed with several team members, mostly behavioral questions.
Final round — I reached the final stage but was not offered the role because of a reduction in headcount. Outcome: No offer; I appreciated the human, in-person closure after the decision.
