I interviewed quickly with a small set of steps—recruiter, a take-home, and a virtual onsite—and despite the process moving fast, I didn’t get an offer.

Recruiter + hiring manager meeting — I had a recruiter chat that was efficient even if not very conversational, and I also met with the hiring manager.
Take-home coding exercise — I completed a coding take-home; the overall cycle was completed very quickly.
Virtual onsite — I went through a virtual onsite after the take-home.
Outcome: I didn’t take the offer because it wasn’t competitive, and the takeaway is that the interview experience felt smooth even though compensation didn’t work for me.
