Epic Games Software Engineer interview experience

The call was structured enough to feel like a real evaluation—about an hour—where we discussed my background and how it matched what they were looking for.

A few days later, I got a notification that they weren’t progressing with the interview process. What stood out was the lack of feedback. I didn’t get any explanation about what went wrong or what might have been missing, and that absence of follow-through made the whole experience feel abrupt.

I never reached an offer, and the main feeling I carried afterward was just uncertainty from being cut off without any closure.
