My process dragged out over a long stretch, with multiple stages and a panel experience that ended up being extremely time-heavy—around four hours of interviews.

It wasn’t just the interviews either; a lot of the timeline felt like waiting while they processed approval for remote work.

Even with all that time invested, the final result was a rejection. What made it especially difficult to take was the stated reason: I was rejected for being autistic. The whole thing left me with a bitter, unfair feeling—like I’d been through an exhausting process without the outcome being handled respectfully.
