I encountered a higher-difficulty path when the interviews shifted from basics into deeper technical and process thinking, with expectations around engineering development and structured problem framing.

Technical interview (deep technical + engineering practice) — One loop emphasized design engineering depth and tolerance-oriented thinking; another was anchored on topics like Six Sigma, engineering development process, innovation, and project/cost/value engineering.
Leadership/HR-style follow-up — I was asked to discuss professional and social contribution and how I’d operate in the organization. Outcome: No offer, and the takeaway was that the bar tightened around structured engineering/process knowledge, not just general fit.
