Seattle, WAPosted Jan 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had an interview experience that skewed heavily behavioral and resume/project storytelling, with no coding and a “get to know you” feel.

Recruiter/HR screen — a short phone interview followed by HR-focused conversation.
Engineering team interview (Zoom or onsite) — I discussed my prior technical projects in depth, including my approach, how I got unblocked, what I improved, and what I’d do differently.
Manager interview (in person) — a further conversation with the manager.
Behavioral via STAR — in another instance, I prepared STAR-style stories and learned that the way I answered mattered as much as the experience. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer, but the takeaway was clear: be ready to walk through
